We are always on the lookout for talented people, so if you are pro-active, have a can-do attitude + have never uttered the words ‘that’s not my job’, we’d love to hear from you.

In addition to all the usual benefits like pensions, great working environment + lots of training, we also offer a life assurance scheme + free lunches, snacks + drinks.

Our food is designed to keep you focussed + awake throughout the day so we’d be missing a trick if we didn’t share it with our teams.

We are always thrilled to hear from smiling, helpful people with bags of common sense who would like to work in our kitchen spaces, on front of house or as part of our client management teams, so even if you can’t see the job you’re looking for on our list of vacancies, take a punt and drop us a line anyway, we’re at jobs@wallacespace.com.

Our values

Our clients really are at the heart of everything we do at wallacespace.

We are thoughtful and used to anticipating peoples’ needs by asking the right questions to better understand how to deliver an exceptional experience.

Everyone who works for us is naturally helpful with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.

Collaboration is essential, with different departments across multiple buildings all working together to deliver extraordinary service. Therefore we seek to hire people who have the soft skills necessary to build strong relationships internally, as well as externally with our clients.

Our teams

Our people prefer to speak face to face or on the phone, rather than hiding behind email. We are interesting + interested and we share a passion for consistently delivering exceptional service. If you love talking to people, learning and helping them to have a successful day you’ll fit in wonderfully here.

We are not fond of overly hierarchical structures; at wallacespace we like to hear ideas for improvement from everyone so if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t accept the status quo and is always seeking a better way to do things, get in touch!

How to apply

Email jobs@wallacespace.com attaching your CV and a brief cover letter outlining why you are perfect for the role you are applying for. Be clear about which role you would like to be considered for, unless you would like to be considered for any open roles, in which case it’s best to be clear about that too.

Attitude, enthusiasm and transferable skills are more important than directly applicable experience, so try to outline what you could bring to the role and don’t worry too much about ‘the perfect CV’.

We are only a small team working on reading the applications we receive, so although we make sure we read every application, we’re really sorry but we don’t always have chance to reply to every application. That said, if you would like to follow up and find out where we’re up to, please do give us a call or follow up with an email to jobs@wallacespace.com. We’re a friendly bunch and we’re always happy to answer questions, explain more about the roles or let you know what stage we’re at in the recruitment process for each role.

What to expect from the interview process

We have a three-part interview process for most roles. Your first interview will be a telephone interview, then you’ll have a face to face meeting with one or our senior managers and if you are successful then your final interview will be with one of our directors.

We will also ask you to complete some written tests as part of the process – don’t be nervous – everything we ask of you as part of the recruitment process is designed to build a picture of where your strengths lie, so that we can build well-rounded, happy, productive teams.

If you are unsure of anything please ask, you can give us a call at any point on 020 7395 1265.

Training and development

Our goal at wallacespace is that everyone should leave us with a better developed ‘business toolbox’ than when they joined.

Most departments start their journey with a week-long induction which is designed to get you off to a flying start. You’ll then start role-specific training and we keep this training up with a series of internal skills sessions and external training, all with a view to making you more commercially aware with a better understanding of the wider business world and also to develop the skills you need to really push forward in your chosen department.

Benefits

Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Our lunches are designed to keep our clients alert and productive all through the afternoon, so we’d be missing a trick if we didn’t offer the same food to our teams. Hot and cold drinks, lunch and snacks are all included, as is a workplace pension, life assurance, discretionary bonus scheme, travel loan and access to child care vouchers and the cycle to work scheme.

We also go out for regular team drinks and get together twice a year as a company for a team day out.
