We’re suckers for a science success story, especially if it’s space-related. So we were thrilled with the news today that the European space agency has found its lost comet lander, Philae. BBC news story here
Philae was dropped on to the comet by Rosetta in 2014 but fell silent 60 hours later when its battery ran flat.
Although it relayed pictures and data about its location to Earth, the lander’s actual resting place was a mystery until today when it was found! We’re looking forward to hearing about everything Philae has managed to find out about Rosetta.
