Just a 5 minute stroll from both Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations, our meeting spaces on Dryden Street are ideally located for Charing Cross mainline station, Oxford Street, Soho + the rest of the West End.
Our main building used to be a chandelier showroom which explains the great light, but it is also full of nooks + crannies with sofas + chairs providing ideal break-out areas that are free of charge. A gentle garden theme runs through the building, think tropical palm houses and Victorian conservatories…
We also have a separate annexe a couple of doors down from our main building; it’s your very own private apartment-style wallacespace with a separate kitchen area + dedicated team to make sure you have everything you need.
While the nooks + crannies of an older building give it bags of character, it also meant we couldn’t install a lift past the second floor at 2 Dryden Street, although we do have a lift next door at the annexe. The team at wallacespace are experts at organising corporate events with a non-corporate feel. Their Covent Garden venue is bright, interesting and imaginative, with lots of character and well chosen interiors. Right from the word go, they took a relaxed, unpressured approach, showing patience when I needed it and then getting quickly into gear with me once I was given the green light.
The team were adaptable, accommodating and confident enough to handle a degree of ambiguity while the finer details were being worked out along the way. Their easygoing approach and ability to fit in with the client (rather than expecting the client to fit in with them), along with always looking for reasons to say yes rather than no, are outstanding.
